Mr. Tony Ong is currently the Chairman of Cogent Development Group Ltd. He is also the Chairman of Cogent Financial Group (HK) Limited, an investment company with controlling interest in property development, hotel ownership and management, media, publishing and commodities trading businesses in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Singapore.

Mr Ong graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Banking and Finance), a Master of Economics degree and attended a Leadership Program at London School of Economics and Political Science. In his spare time, Tony is passionately engaged in the practice of Goju Ryu and Shotokan Karate-Do.

Mr. Tan Kuang Hui has over 25 years of experience in the audit and financial advisory services, providing these services to a broad range of clients including financial institutions, technology, manufacturing, trading, publishing and agricultural companies. Kuang Hui is the Chief Executive and Managing Partner of Crowe Singapore, and is particularly well versed in PRC business, accounting and tax matters. He has advised clients on restructuring and subsequent listing of various companies on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) and has led teams to perform audits and advisory of SGX-listed companies. Kuang Hui has conducted due diligence reviews for proposed acquisitions of companies in Indonesia, China and Singapore and performs risk control reviews and advises clients on risk control as well as corporate governance issues. Lately, he has also been advising technology clients on blockchain matters and cryptocurrencies.

Kuang Hui holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is a Council Member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and a member of CPA Australia. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Crowe Global.

Dr. Markus Hess has over 25 years of experience in building and managing successful businesses in various industries. His responsibilities included transforming traditional businesses into agile organizations, as well as driving business growth. He started his career as marketing director for Festool, later he joined the consultancy Malik where he installed the “syntegration method” as a prime tool for Strategy and M&A topics. As the managing director of RUAG Ammotec he formed the company into a powerhouse for special ammunition and industrial applications. With SchoggiMAIL he founded a company that filled a market gap and became a brand in the chocolate industry in Switzerland. During the last couple of years, he developed the business for PAL-V and ran his own consulting company “Think-Beyond”.

Markus received as best of class an MBA from Clemson University, SC and a Ph. D. from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland with two post doc stints at Duke University and UCLA.

Mr Takashi Ohtani owns, develops and manages a data management and analysis system for trading and investing in the financial markets. He joined the Equity Division of Goldman Sachs Securities Co., Ltd. in 1996 and worked in various trading desks including derivatives, stocks, and statistical arbitrage strategies. He later moved to Morgan Stanley Japan Securities Co., Ltd. in 2002 and was involved in restarting their Equity Division. Mr Ohtani was promoted to Managing Director in in 2005 and has been Co-Head of the Japanese equity trading department and Head of the Asia Portfolio Trading department, and Product-Head for transition management over a period of 10 years where he was engaged in desk/product/project management, daily trading and various product developments. After transferring to the Singapore branch in 2014, he retired in order to pursue his own interests.

Over the course of his career, Mr Ohtani was involved in building investment and trading strategies by numerical analysis and developing computer programs. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mr Ohtani studied aero chemistry and fluid dynamics, and focused on a generation mechanism for the ozone hole in the stratosphere. He graduated from University of Tokyo with a Master of Science degree in geophysics. Takeshi is a black belt in Goju Ryu Karate.
